Introducing MElissa

Hey Queen,

How are you?

I am so grateful that you are visiting my website and reading the blog.

I am so happy that you trust me. I will do my best to help you.

I will start by introducing myself in this first blog.

I am Melissa Boelen, and I live in The Netherlands.

You have a lot more potential than you realize.

I strongly believe that everyone should feel supported. That's one of the reasons why I started my own coaching business. Everyone should feel safe and should not be judged when they are being coached.

I stand for equality. I would love to contribute to that and make a change in the world. I believe that everyone should be respected no matter where you come from, your culture, sexual preference, and how you identify yourself. I support BLM, LGBTQ+, Feminism.

This, for me, is important in all of my work. I have a no-tolerance policy on this. For me, it is really important when you are coached by me, or talk to other people on my platforms, that the interaction is respectful.

If you ever feel disrespected, please let me know. If I make a mistake or you feel like the content is not okay, please let me know. I will do my best in everything. I am always open to learn, be better, and do better.

My coaching approach

I have been through PTSD, Burn-out, sexual abuse, anxiety, and other traumas. While I was dealing with this, I learned a lot from different coaches and psychologists. I have read self-help books as if they were romance novels. I loved to read them in my spare time and apply all the things that I have learned. I have done several programs and learned a lot about coaching people. I am also in my last year of my bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology. I have learned how to do EFT Tapping, and I am not only using this method in my coaching sessions, but I also use it for myself.

Because I have been through a lot, I know like no other how it feels when you go through something. I struggled the most when I was helped with my traumas, and I dealt with the trauma. I should have felt better and like myself again, right? Well, I was wrong about that. I did not know who I was without the trauma. I did not know what I wanted to do.

I had so many opinions from others in my head, the voice in my head was telling me, “you are not good enough; you are not worthy.”

It took me a long time to figure out myself and know what I would like to do. And this is exactly where I would love to help you with so that you feel supported and don't have to do it alone. I want you to know that you are not the only one going through something.

I am here for you and I got you.

Together we will make a plan so you can be your best self and the person you always wanted to be, to go for your goals. If you don't know yet what you would like to do, I am here to help you figure that out together.

During the coaching, I am very direct. I will tell you what you need to hear but in a loving way, of course. I am open-minded. I am invested in you. I am your biggest cheerleader. For me, nothing is better than helping other people succeed in their dreams and creating the life they always wanted for themselves.

You are so deserving of this. If you have any questions or you would like to know more about me or maybe just want some advice, feel free to DM me at @melissaboelen or send an email to hello@melissaboelen.com

I am super excited to get to know you.

Know that you are loved.

And you are enough.

Lots of Love,

Melissa
